Ali Carignan

My name is Ali Carignan and I am looking forward to being a part of the NMC board in 2010. This is my second year as an NMC member and I am truly impressed with the Club’s ability to positively affect the lives of so many people in the community. My husband and I are both originally from Cape Elizabeth, Maine, but have lived in Amesbury for the past five years. We moved here from Cambridge when I was pregnant with our first child, Jack, and feel so lucky to have found such a welcoming community in which to raise our family. In June of 2008 we welcomed our second child, Genevieve, and since then I have been on leave from my job as a high school Spanish teacher. Being home with my kids has been one of the best and craziest times of my life. For better or worse, they surprise me every day and I try my best to cherish each moment. In our free time, our family enjoys skiing, dance parties in our kitchen, visiting family in Maine and spending time with friends. Thank you all for being a part of this fantastic group of families.
