Annelise Grant

I am very excited to serve as the NMC’s vice president for the 2010 year. Last year I was a PR/marketing officer for the club and I’m looking forward to digging even deeper into such a wonderful group of families! NMC has been such wonderful way to make friends, give back to the community and find fun activities for my son in our area. My husband, Caleb, and I moved to Newburyport over two years ago from Cambridge, although we’re both originally from Peterborough, NH. Our son, Cooper, is 2 years old and we’re expecting our second baby in May. Apparently I’m the third VP in a row to have a baby during her term, and it’s a legacy I’m excited to carry on! I work fulltime as a public relations manager for a financial services firm in Boston, although I’m extremely fortunate to be able to work from home two days a week, which saves my sanity as far as the commute goes. In my free time, I love to take Cooper on exciting adventures, be it a bike ride around our neighborhood or an expedition to the Children’s Museum in Boston. I’m passionate about “green” living and I also love to cook, sew and snowboard. Please feel free to contact me with any ideas you might have about the club.
