Devon Palermino

My name is Devon Palermino and I’ve lived in Newburyport for four years. This is my 4th year on the NMC board (advertising, kids’ outings, vice-president and now, community links). I am looking forward to planning some fun events to connect the NMC with the Greater Newburyport community. My husband, Dan (affectionately known as The Fun Police – he’s the guy who you’ll hear reprimanding kids for swinging too high, screaming too loud, eating too much frosting and just plain having too much fun), and I have been married for 12 years. We have four kids ranging in ages from 7 months to 7 years. Most of my days fly by in a blur! Before becoming a mom, I worked as a business consultant in NYC, which seems like a lifetime ago! In my spare time, I enjoy running and reading. I am also easily sucked into watching terrible reality shows and lately have no willpower when it comes to mini candy bars and Souffles iced coffee. With my family, I love going to the beach, playing “monster” (and hearing the kids squeal with delight!), watching the kids in all of their activities (karate just cracks me up!) and just snuggling on the couch.
