Kelly Woodsum

Hi! I'm Kelly Woodsum and this is my fourth year on the NMC board. This year, I will continue my roles as Newsletter and Activity Guide Designer and I will also take on Marketing and PR for the Club with Colleen Lawton. I am a part-time, work-at-home mom. I manage two non profit professional organizations as well as marketing and public relations for several clients, all of which is done from home which gives me great flexibility to spend time with my two little guys, Jake, 3.5, and Zack, 6 months. I grew up in Georgetown and my husband, David, grew up in Newburyport. Yes, admittedly we met in a bar in Newburyport, but which one, I'll never tell! We were married in 2002 and lived in Newburyport for a while before moving to Rowley in 2005. I've spent my whole life in this area with just short respites to other New England states – college in Vermont and my first job in Rhode Island. I always come back to the Seacoast though and we love being part of the Greater Newburyport community and the NMC. Being part of the NMC for the past few years has been a great experience and I'm thankful for this wonderful group of women who have helped me through the first years of motherhood.
