Kristen Daigle

My name is Kristen Daigle and this will be my first year as one of the Kids Outings Coordinators. I moved to Newburyport about three years ago with my husband, Scott, and our two kids, Adella, 5, and Grace, 2. Before having kids, I was an elementary teacher, teaching in Dorchester, MA, New Haven, CT, and New London, CT. I love teaching, and am excited to someday get back into the classroom. Currently, I am substituting with Newburyport Public Schools. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and exercising. I am so happy to be one of the Newcomer Coordinators! When we moved here I had just stopped teaching. I was really worried about feeling isolated as a stay-at-home mom. Joining the NMC was, honestly, one of the best decisions I ever made. My husband and I have met some of my best friends through the NMC, and I feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. I am excited to finally be able to give something back!
