Mimmi Roy

My name is Mimmi Roy and I have been a member of the NMC for two years. This is my first year on the NMC Board. My husband, Chris, grew up in Newburyport and I grew up in Sweden. I met Chris in 2005 and we got married in Sweden in August 2007. We now live in Byfield. We have a daughter, Emme, born in June 2008. I am also a step-mom to Chris's children, Brock, 9, and Lily,7, who lives with us full time. Our family also includes our loving dogs, Bruno and Harley. I work in Cambridge Monday through Friday and love spending my weekends at home with my husband and children. I was born in Sweden and have all my family still there except from my brother, who lives with his wife and daughter in Baltimore, MD. I love to travel and visit my family in Sweden at least 2-3 times a year. It is very important to me to have my daughter, Emme, brought up with both Swedish and American culture and language.
